Did you worry there aren't enough Harry Potter books in your life?

Following the release of the playscript of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which picks up soon after where the seventh Harry Potter novel left off, and as the anticipation around the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them film, builds, three new books set in the Harry Potter universe have been announced.

These e-book-only shorts are going to be presented under the umbrella Pottermore Presents, and are intended for readers who are not regular visitors of the Pottermore website.

“Pottermore Presents is a series of bite-sized e-books that dig deep into the Harry Potter stories, with titbits taken from Pottermore’s archives and original writing from JK Rowling. The series offers Harry Potter fans added insights into the stories, settings and characters and were all lovingly curated by Pottermore,” says an announcement on the Pottermore website.

The three e-books, titled Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide, Short Stories from Hogwarts of Power, Political and Pesky Poltergeists and Short Stories from Hogwarts of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies will be released together on September 6 in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish.

The first book “dives into the nooks and crannies of the beloved wizarding school itself, unfurling everything from details about the Hogwarts ghosts, to what happens when the Sorting Hat can’t decide on a student’s house.” The second “explores the darker roots of the wizarding world,” including more about the Ministry of Magic, Azkaban prison, and Horace Slughorn. The last “celebrates the colourful staff of Hogwarts”, with new information about Minerva McGonagall and Care of Magical Creatures teacher Silvanus Kettleburn.

It makes you nostalgic for the times there'd be a new Harry Potter book only once every year.
