A number of publications and public figures have made their distaste for Donald Trump quite clear. But no one has done it in as much style as Marvel comics, which has featured a Trump-inspired villain in Spider-Gwen Annual #1.

Reports say that the presumptive Republican candidate for the 2016 US presidential elections is the inspiration for the villain M.O.D.A.A.K. ("Mental Organism Designed as America's King"). This is a riff on the original Marvel super-villain, MODOK (Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing).

Ace Showbiz reports, “In a sneak peek, M.O.D.A.A.K. proclaims, "If America will not act, M.O.D.A.A.K. must!" In the story, he also reportedly shouts at brown-skinned people, ordering them to get back on their feet.”

A PTI report says that the comic book is set in an alternate Spiderman universe in which Gwen Stacey – who once dated Peter Parker – is the one who is bitten by a radioactive spider instead, and gains its powers. She teams up with Captain America.
